This summer, the next couple of summers and throughout the year, the Town will be impacted by major construction projects to repair our aging utilities, roads and bridges. Much of the Town’s infrastructure is outdated and in dire need of repair and replacement. From 100-year-old water lines, to failing sewer pipes, roads that haven’t been paved in years, bridges that restrict flow, and old gas and electrical lines; there is a lot of work that is required to be completed. With modern conveniences come modern inconveniences. The Town is coordinating with all utilities to minimize impact, do as much work in the summertime as possible when school is out, and to communicate the impacts to our residents. However, while this work is required, it is far from ideal, so your patience is appreciated. To a large degree, it’s like remodeling your kitchen and the rest of your home while you try to live in it at the same time. On the Town website at Current Projects is a map of utility and Town projects along with a list below and who to contact with questions. This information will be updated throughout the year. Once again, the Town appreciates your patience while its infrastructure is updated for everyone to use. If you have concerns or see something that needs to be addressed, please contact the utility in charge, the Town at 415-258-4616 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
