Studio 4 Art and the San Anselmo Recreation Department have never offered so many options to fit EVERY family’s schedule and, hopefully, needs! If you are looking for summertime educational fun IN your home, this is it!!!

Virtual Art Camp is the perfect solution if you need your child to be creatively connected. These camps have a zoom meetup each morning but it is designed to give your child a happy and joyful way to begin their day. We come together, give our morning virtual high fives, talk about the art topics and focus of the day. Our teachers will be virtually hanging out from 9a-12p with your child going over step-by-steps, having snacks, chatting, and making. The Zoom meetups can give parents a break for up to 3 hours a day, great if you are also needing to work from home! BUT, your child doesn’t have to stay in the Zoom art meetup because we have prerecorded videos and art booklets that come with each camp too!

Virtual art camps come with absolutely everything you need!! We ship supplies (included in the cost), and each camp comes with a booklet that explains all “how to’s”, terminology, pictures of steps and definitions, how to set up your art station, how to clean up, and even the goals of each camp and what art education your child will gain through these hands-on projects. Studio 4 Art booklets are FULL of information that any art educator would drool over. Our teachers have been working hard at having this experience be a guide to inspire passion through knowledge in art!

Virtual Digital Photography + Printmaking - 06/15-06/19

Ages: 9-16 (only), 9am to 12pm, $195

This camp is taught by a professional and your camper will gain knowledge to become a professional themselves. In this summer intensive art camp campers will explore photo image-making while learning how those photographs can be made into printmaking artworks. They will learn how light, perspective, and composition work together to compose a photograph to become a work of art. Pictures will be edited in Adobe Photoshop, and then manipulated through printmaking processes such as cyanotypes and photo-transfers. At the end of class on Friday, each student leaves with a portfolio/folder of new images. Campers will be using either a phone or digital camera for this camp.

Ages: 5-14, 9am – 12pm, $195

Ceramics, Clay + Pottery - We are so excited to be bringing this art camp, our most popular, to your own homes. In this week-long ceramics camp, you will receive all the supplies needed for our weekly virtual meetups. We are designing the projects mindfully with “less mess” ideas but definitely will follow the education that S4A is known for. These camps will be run as our traditional ceramics camps that we have led for the last 20 years. Each day is full of projects, art education, working with our hands, and the best part... because you are home you can continue to work on your projects for as long as you like! Daily Zoom meetups and pdf’s with step-by-step instruction for your creations will empower your child to share our passion through making!
