The San Anselmo Public Library offers fun, literacy-based storytimes for various age groups, including babies, toddlers, and families.
Baby and Toddler Storytime
Mondays, 10:30am and 11:00am
(2 sessions to choose from!)
Council Chambers
Early contact with books can make lifelong readers. Baby and Toddler Storytime at the San Anselmo Library is a fun way to introduce your baby or young child to a wide range of high-quality picture books, songs, poetry, and nursery rhymes carefully selected to satisfy their developmental needs. No registration required.

Enjoy stories, songs, and rhymes in Spanish! Acompáñenos con cuentos y canciones en español para niños y sus padres o cuidadores. Open to Spanish and non-Spanish speakers. All children must attend with a caregiver.

Family Stay & Play Storytime
Thursdays, 11am
Council Chambers
For children of all ages and their parent or caregiver. Talk, sing, read, and play together in a format appropriate for young children. Share books, stories, rhymes, music and movement. Stick around after storytime to read together, chat, and play with toys! No registration required. Parents/caregivers are expected to stay with children during all storytime sessions.
French Storytime
Fridays, 11am
Council Chambers
For children of all ages and their parent or caregiver. Talk, sing, read, and play together. Share books, stories, rhymes, music in French. No registration required. Parents/caregivers are expected to stay with children during all storytime sessions.
