Memorial Ridge and Red Hill Trails

The Public Works Department is collaborating with members of the Open Space Committee on plans for two hiking trails in San Anselmo.

The first, Red Hill Trail, would ascend to the summit of Red Hill using the existing road cuts on one of the Town parcels. The summit, with its impressive views, is of historical significance as a corner point of the Mexican land grants of the early 1800's.
Memorial Ridge Trail would connect Memorial Park to Sorich Park and its network of Marin County trails via the ridge line and an easement through the Tamalpais Cemetery.
