The goal of storytime is to encourage a love of language and literature in all its forms and to create positive interactions with books for the parent and child to experience together. 
Note: For safety reasons, all children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by children.

1. PARTICIPATE with your child. Join in the songs and activities and show your child how fun it is for both of you.

2. Be PATIENT. Let your child be your guide. Some children need to observe the first few visits until they are comfortable enough to participate.

3. Be AWARE. If your child needs a break from storytime, please go outside and join in again when they are ready.

4. Take the Storytime experience home! Before or after storytime, visit the library!
