The San Anselmo Town Council is accepting applications for a vacancy on the Council resulting from the resignation of Council member Kay Coleman, who will step down at the end of June, 2019. The successful candidate will serve the residents of the Town of San Anselmo from the time of the appointment by Town Council until December 2020, completing Council member Coleman’s current term.

The person named to fill the vacant Council position would have to stand for election at the November 3, 2020 General Election if s/he wishes to continue serving on the Council beyond December 2020.

The deadline to submit applications is 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019. It is expected that Council will conduct applicant interviews on July 23, 2019 prior to the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting that evening.
