The Town has begun construction of the Red Hill Median Improvements Project. The project consists of removing the existing diseased elm trees and installing bioretention, irrigation, drainage improvements, curbing, landscaping and trees. This project was made possible by a generous private donation. Plans can be found here:

Tentative schedule as follows:
Work for the week of September 16-20 includes:
- Remove guardrail
- Grind stumps and remove roots
- Clear and grub median
- Rough grade swales
- Begin stormdrain modification
The work started Wednesday August 28, continues thru mid-January. The majority of work to be completed by the end of December, with punch list items continuing into January.
Work hours 8 am to 5 pm, with any lane closures limited to 9 am to 3 pm.
Some elements of the work may require lane closures on SFD and Center, however, most lane closures will be on Red Hill.
