Supervisors Katie Rice (District 2) and Dennis Rodoni (District 4) will be convening a cross jurisdictional committee to hold a community listening session this Friday to hear from residents about the potential renaming of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
The committee will be comprised of council representatives from each of the city/towns through which Sir Francis Drake Blvd runs, as well as Supervisors Rice and Rodoni who represent unincorporated areas along the SFD corridor.
The virtual listening session will be held this Friday, June 26, from 3-5pm and will serve as an initial step in gauging community interest in renaming the Boulevard. No decisions will be made at the meeting, but input is welcome and appreciated as further action is considered.
Community members are welcome to participate in Friday’s zoom session or you can email your comments to krice@marincounty.org and drodoni@marincounty.org (please put SFD in subject of email and identify your city or town). Emails will be shared with other members of the cross jurisdictional committee. If you have already communicated with our offices on this issue, please know we have your email and will also share with the committee.
