In these uncertain times when the state is experiencing hundreds of wildfires, many caused by lightening strikes, it is important to share information related to what we can do to stay prepared and alert in our homes and neighborhoods.
The Town of San Anselmo and the Ross Valley Fire Department work closely with FIRESAFE Marin on preparedness activities including fire fuel reduction and evacuation route clearing, the development and support of FIREWISE communities (Marin is the fastest growing FIREWISE County in the US!), coordinating "chipper days" to help homeowners reduce fire fuel loads on their own land and other community spaces, and on public education and awareness.
