Each year, communities across the world celebrate Earth Day to increase awareness of environmental issues. Today, the Town of San Anselmo celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day and the actions the Town has taken for a healthy planet.
San Anselmo has reduced emissions 29% since 2005. We need to reduce emissions another 15,680 MTCO2e to meet the local and State target for 2030 and another 42,660 MTCO2e to meet the State target for 2050, which is 80% below 1990 levels.
