TOWN BOOKS ARTIST SERIES We are honored to host an exhibit by local painter, ANANDI MATTESON. Her artwork will be on display through May and June.
As an artist, Anandi responds to the beauty of nature, mainly flowers in all shapes and colors. The delicacy and openness of a flower in full bloom keeps inviting her in again and again. Anandi’s creative process often starts with walking in nature, camera in hand. She shoots away at what attracts her, then recreates the beauty with acrylics on wood or canvas.
Please join us for an ARTIST RECEPTION Friday, May 6, from 5-7 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

A Message From PG&ETo support our communities in planting the right trees in the right locations, PG&E has developed a Guide to Safe Landscaping that is based off industry best practices for keeping the area above the pipeline safe. It includes a wide array of species and safe distances for planting and can be downloaded at pge.com/safelandscaping. To learn more about our gas vegetation safety efforts, please visit pge.com/gasveg or call 1-800-743-5000. PG&E’s most important responsibility is the safety of our customers and communities. That’s why we regularly inspect the area above and around the gas transmission pipeline to look for any structures, trees or brush that could block emergency access or damage the pipe. This helps ensure that the gas system continues to provide safe service to the community for years to come. As part of these safety efforts, community members may see PG&E crews walking the area above the pipeline and looking for any items that pose a safety concern. If we identify structures or vegetation that could pose a safety concern, we partner with the city, county or property owner to remove or relocate those items further away from the pipeline to help keep the community and pipe safe.
