Elders' Garden Discussion for Memorial Park Master Plan At the October 24, 2017 Town Council meeting, the Council approved the framework for a Memorial Park Master Plan. Concerns were raised by members of the public related to the proposed changes to the Elder's garden area of the park. In response, the Town Council appointed a subcommittee to focus on working through these issues in an effort to finalize the master plan.
The Council would like to invite all interested individuals to an upcoming meeting of the subcommittee to discuss the design of the Elders' Garden in relation to the Memorial Park Master Plan. This meeting will be held on Monday, January 8th in the Mt. Tam Room at the Isabel Cook Community Center. The goal of the meeting is to discuss the changes to the Elder's Garden as proposed in the master plan, and complete the community’s vision for the park which will lead the process toward a final, preferred plan. Once this process has been completed, staff will bring a presentation to the Town Council.
